Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy is a method of administering vitamins directly into the bloodstream.

With an intravenous infusion, vitamins are added to a fluid such as dextrose saline or normal saline and the vitamin is delivered over a period of 30-45 minutes. Benefits with this method include increased hydration and fluid delivery into the body.
